This is a great tip from tuaw.com. I’m a regular Apple Mail user. That is, I use Apple’s built in Mail application at work. In my opinion (which is quite humble I’ll have you know) Apple’s Mail app is one the best applications I use. I love the way it’s easy to read mail, reply to mail and the linked Address Book and iCal just ice my cake! But this tip is a real life saver.

Imagine, you receive an email with a question that you need to answer. But this same email contains lots of other information, that doesn’t need to be replied to. As you hit reply, this entire email is copied into your reply. Now you can do the following. As you receive this email, select the part of the email you need to reply to, and then hit the reply button. You’ll find only that portion of the email is quoted in your reply. Brilliant.
